Standard 2: Student Learning (Nusbaum)

The teacher candidate understands how students learn and develop and must provide learning opportunities that support a student’s intellectual, social, and personal development.

Milestone Flyer -This is a brochure demonstrating my philosophy style in the classroom.

EDUC 200 Clinical Journal -This journal records my first clinical teaching experience at Washington Elementary in Mankato Minnesota. This experience exposed me to 4th grade student’s intellectual, social, and personal development.

EDUC 370 Clinical Journal -This journal records my clinical experience in a Special Ed program and classroom at Mankato East High School in Mankato, Minnesota. Here, I learned and viewed the accommodations that were made for these particular students in the school and in their curriculum.

EDUC 390 Field Report -This Report describes my five hours at St. Clair Public School in St. Clair, Minnesota. This report displays my findings in how my host teacher incorporates the reading standards for his content area.

EDUC 370 Time Log -This time log shows that I have fulfilled my 20 hours required for clinical teaching for EDUC 370.

EDUC 310 Tutoring Log -This journal records my clinical experience at Prairie Winds Middle School in Mankato, Minnesota. This experience exposed me to a wide variety of ethnic cultures and I was able to see what an ELL program is in a school and how it is applied to students who do not speak English as their first language.

EDUC 310 Time Log -This time log shows that I have fulfilled my 20 hours required for clinical teaching for EDUC 310.
